Today is the drawing for an autographed set of books to celebrate The Genesis Tree turning one! Last week, on the eve of this book baby’s birthday, I received the exciting news that it is also a finalist in the OCW Cascade Awards this year–the same contest The Flaming Sword won last year 🙂 I’m just blown away that this is happening (and super excited too!). God is good!
So, let’s give away a set of this *ahem* AWARD WINNING SERIES! (Sorry for the pomp and circumstance, but that is basically what every author dreams about being able to say about their books!).

The first thing I ever remember winning…two tickets to see Russ Taff in concert. I was the chosen caller. It was my first ever concert. Loved it!

Wow. What a cool thing to have won! I won a finish-the-story Star Trek fanfiction contest in the mid90s. The prize was a screaming Chekov tshirt. I still have it! lol

It was pretty cool! And that was back when I really wasn’t an Elton John fan. I was only 14 so my taste was more 80s mainstream. I didn’t even have a camera to take a picture LOL.
But that’s also a very cool prize you won as well! Especially since you earned it with your writing! Glad you’ve hung onto the shirt all these years, I bet your kids will love getting to wear it too.
