Tethered News!

Happy summer, friends!

Hope this finds you able to get out and about, mask or no mask, because we’ve all put on that COVID-15 by sitting around with our noses in books–courtesy of quarantine.

Oh, wait, did someone mention ‘books’? Whaddya know, I just happen to have some bookish news to share today!

I’m happy to announce that the first eBook in The Tethered World Chronicles is now permanently FREE. Yep! From Amazon, to Barnes and Noble, to whatever cyberbookstore you prefer… The Tethered World is now free 😀 Woohoo!

Okay, full disclosure: my publisher was willing to try it as free for an experiment. There are those that say having the first book in a series free helps to drive sales of the other two books. So, we are putting this idea to the test! If you know someone who may enjoy this urban fantasy, please share this link with them and let them know it is now FREE.

But wait! There’s more!

(Also, there are a lot of explanation points in this post! Do not do this in your novel if you’re a writer! Bad, bad! #toomuchexcitementupinhere)

While you’re out and about in the sunshine, working off those Rona-calories, don’t forget your headphones so you can listen to the just-released AUDIOBOOK of The Flaming Sword! (Man, all-caps and explanation points…this is embarrassing). You can snag yours here!

I’m so excited that my publisher found the lovely and talented Rachanee Lumayno to become the new voice of Sadie Larcen and friends (and, of course, enemies too). She does an incredible job with the extensive cast of characters who populate my stories. Why not gather the fam around the table and listen to books one and two while Rachanee works on recording book 3, The Genesis Tree? If you do, let me know what you think about each of them, especially since there are two different narrators (and I’d looove and appreciate a review if you listen).

Finally, I’m still in the throes of book 4, working on the future of the Tethered World. I’m hoping I may be able to share chapter one with you soon. What do YOU think might be happening 20 years into the future from where we left off in The Genesis Tree? And…are you an audiobook fan?

  1. Woohoo! I’ll definitely be sharing the news!
I love audio books but mostly for my commute which has been squashed the past few months working from home. 😉

    1. I bet! Sometimes I get behind the wheel and wonder…when was the last time I did this? Can’t even remember! Are things getting less strict where you live?

      1. I’m in Florida. The state has gotten so much less strict it’s spiking again. But my family is still living pretty carefully. I go in to work for a few hours every day while my daughter is at volleyball practice, then we go home to work the rest of the day. We’re mostly careful because we don’t want to risk exposing my grandmother. We visit her very occasionally, but only in her backyard, keeping our distance.
