Christmas Giveaways and a Christmas Story

Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope this finds you enjoying the magic of the season, and not merely keeping your head above the proverbial water. I’ve had way too many of THOSE kinds of Christmases 🙁

Since this is the season of giving, I wanted to invite you to enjoy some fun giveaways with me TOMORROW! Well, actually, if you’ll join the group TODAY, you’ll get a chance to win some other loot from the quirky and brainy J. Aaron Grueben who you should totally check out! He’s a writer by day and an ER veterinarian by night! How cool is that?

I’m part of a nifty group of readers and writers that are part of a growing Facebook community called “Readers and Writers of Clean Youth Fiction.” We’ve been celebrating The Twelve Days of Christmas with a different author each day since the first of December! Loads of giveaways are happening here, as well as the chance to discover new authors. If quality clean reads are important to you, I encourage you to join this group and see what it’s about (remember to answer the three little questions that help us to know you’re not a spammer 😀 ).

I feel terrible that I am only now sharing about the twelve days of giveaways :-/ Let’s just say it’s been an eventful post-Thanksgiving, with a loved one in the hospital. I feel like I’ve been playing catch-up with life the last two weeks!

I’d love to see some of you tomorrow when I host the page for the day! You can just pop in whenever you have time. The giveaways will be drawn after the party is over so you can scroll through the posts and comment to get your name in on the giveaways, even if you are stopping by a few hours after some of the posts were live. I have autographed books, gift cards, and a chance to have your name (or someone you love) used in my upcoming book!

Finally, my author friend Kessie Carroll shared a sweet little Christmas story that I wanted you guys to enjoy! It’s always lovely to read those heart-warming stories that capture the spirit of Christmas this time of year! This one won’t take long to read and highlights how rich we are when we have love.

Here’s hoping you have relationships in your life that are rich in love and full of joy! Ultimately, this love is found in Jesus Christ, whose amazing, miraculous birth we are celebrating at Christmas! Without His sacrificial love, we wouldn’t have anything worthwhile to celebrate beyond the empty promises offered by this over-commercialized world.

Do you have a favorite Christmas story or movie that you revisit each year? Please share in the comments so others can (re)discover it as well!
