I know I’ve been awfully quiet over here. But I have a great excuse! After being two weeks overdue (and daily causing us anxiety on how to plan for the next 24 hours), my little peach of a grand daughter greeted the world this week! She happened to do so the day before my birthday, too! What a special gift.
And, c’mon, it’s a pretty good reason to be absent, don’t you think?
Im not sure if this is an excused absence. It isn’t like you were actually carrying the child in your belly. All you had to do was watch the phone not ring.
I am willing to let you slide because she is so amazingly beautiful. I know she will be spoiled rotten before her first birthday. congratulations!
Hey, does it count that she was two hours away and then the birthing center another hour from that? I say I get several passes for future blogs.

Awww, that is a VERY good reason of absence!! Congratulations π (And I know what you mean about unsure of how to plan the next 24 hours when she was overdue! My family and I were the same way waiting the arrival of my latest nephew! He was overdue too – by about a month!)
